Opa! I thought that usb drivers were only available for MS-DOS and not for DR-DOS, so that I couldn't use those memory sticks or plug in my mp3 player to my machines. Wrong.

I still need to use my parallel printer and to get a parallel, serial or scsi scanner, but at least those ports will be free on the desktop and not tied up with a compact flash card reader. I can just get a usb one and use it on it and the XP machines. As for the laptop, I'd still prefer to use it's pcmcia slot, but if that doesn't work, or if I need to quickly transfer music from/to my player or something from a stick, I can now do it without having to change systems or machines.
